Microteaching.
What is microteaching?
During the process of becoming an English teacher, the learner must know a lot of things related to it, new methodologies, pedagogies, realia, activities, how to develop a lesson plan, a syllabus and many other aspects that organize the learning process in students. A conception of a new teacher is just to teach, but he must know that before his incursion in the teaching field he must practice what he learned. The most appropiate way to do that is with something called microteaching. It consists in prepare a complete class to a group of students in order to put into practice what he learned about teaching and methodologies and in that way improve his performance.

At the end of the microteaching, you can analyze how was your perfomance as a teacher and try to find the mistakes and correct them for the next time. Your audience in the microteaching (if they are students about to become English teachers) may help you in order to find out the mistakes at the end of the class during the feedback time. There are many ways to put into practice your teaching knowledge before giving the big jump into the teaching field, and microteaching is one of the most meaningful activities.
